in these times of economic hardship, we must utilize what’s in our closet, and make the most of the lower-end lines designers use to improve their image with the working man. occasionally, the splurge for a specific item is necessary for an overall aesthetic, but paring down is what it’s all about right now. i love the jcpenny ad set in new york with all their designers (like charlotte ronson), and ending at la esquina! it makes me so happy, and makes me crave some tongue tacos.

i’m also considering finding out where the nearest jcpenny is, honestly.
