so, it’s the summer, and we’re in new york, that means lots of time spent in the east hampton, montauk, and amaganset. just imagine how much better life would be like if you could party worry free in the part where you’re not staying? i’m a montauk girl myself, but i enjoy making forays to friends in east hampton, but don’t embrace the drive home at 2 am.

welcome lilybug scooters! it’s a service perfect for those nights when you may have had a little too much. you call someone, and they arrive on a mini, fold-up scooter, which they then pack into the trunk of your car, and drive you home. they actually have a variety of services (e.g. they’ll pick up your prescriptions or dry cleaning, or drive you to the airport), including one where if you’re having a party they’ll know to be on call for your guests so they don’t drink and drive. they’ll happily take you from east hampton to montauk, or in the other direction.
